Why we're building this
Finding a music teacher nearby who's actually qualified is mostly guesswork — a phone number passed along by a friend, a flyer at a music store, a listing with no real way to check who's teaching your child.
Finding students consistently is hard, and there's no simple, trustworthy platform to teach through — most of it still runs on WhatsApp messages, word of mouth, and cash in hand.
MyMusic Tutor is a marketplace where verified teachers and students find each other — for home-visit or online lessons, with bookings handled on the platform instead of scattered across calls and texts.
How it works
1
Browse teachers by instrument and location. Every teacher's credentials are checked before they can be booked.
2
Pick a time that works for you and book directly through the platform — no back-and-forth over text.
3
Your teacher comes to you, or you connect online — whichever suits your schedule and space.
What we teach
Acoustic or electric. Classical technique or modern chords, beginner to advanced.
Piano technique on a keyboard — theory, classical pieces, and modern songs.
Acoustic kit or practice pad. Rhythm, coordination, and full performance training.
Why it's different
We check a teacher's musical credentials before they ever appear in a search result — so the person who shows up at your door is who we said they'd be.
Credentials verified before bookingEvery teacher's musical credentials are checked before they can be listed and booked on the platform.
Bookings stay on the platformScheduling and communication happen through MyMusic Tutor, not scattered across calls and texts.

What a lesson looks like
